Employee Safety Measures

To oversee the manufacturing process and ensure that all production lines run without problems and with minimum downtime. Manage budgets to secure correct quantities are produced at the appropriate cost and quality level. Objectives o Ensure the functionality and coordination between areas of the department and meet the proposed production, quality, maintenance and safety objectives o Improve and sustain the efficiency of the entire department. Train and develop employees to meet goals. o Provide answers to the personnel in matters of organizational framework, safety, training, company benefits, individual salaries, etc. o Manage discipline within difference sectors of the department o Control and direct the production schedule to meet commercial needs o Optimize planning of finished goods and ensure proper use of raw materials and equipment. o Direct and supervise all equipment and plant maintenance activities. Ensure the care of the building and facilities for optimal operation o Manage and control quality of products from suppliers o Coordinate and supervise the layout and assembly of new production lines, as well as maintaining existing lines. o Verify compliance of quality standards for each product o Analyze and propose improvement for new products and/or machinery. o Improve company process and profitability o Periodically submit management reports and indicators to the board o Participate in Health and Safety Hygiene committee o Set short, mid, and long-term goals

Skills and Knowledge o 10 years minimum experience in paper industry o Ability to work under pressure o Ability to mediate in conflicts o Experience in electronics o Ability to manage and control productivity and performance of production and personnel o Ability to make fast, accurate decisions o Capacity to analyze situation accurately o Team player o Excellent leadership skills o Excellent communication o Knowledge in TPM and related methodologies o Have understanding of industrial refrigeration systems
